    What is a cookie?

    A cookie is a small file stored by your browser when you visit a website. It can, for example, remember a setting. Some cookies are needed for a site to work, others are used for advertising or for tracking you across sites.

    Cookie and storage we use

    • Name: NEXT_LOCALE • Purpose: remembering the language you chose (French or English) • Set by: theanalyst-travel.com, the site itself • Duration: your visit only; it is deleted when you close your browser • Content: only the language code, for example “en” This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work. It therefore does not require your consent and is not used for any tracking. If you pick the light or dark theme with the sun/moon button, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (key “theme”, value “light” or “dark”). It stays on your device, is never sent to our servers and is only used to show the theme you asked for.

    What we do not use

    • No advertising cookies. • No social media cookies: the links to our Facebook page and YouTube channel are plain links. Neither Facebook nor YouTube is loaded on our pages, and no video is embedded. • No cross-site tracking tools. • Fonts are hosted on our own site: your browser does not contact Google Fonts. This is why the site shows no cookie consent banner.

    Audience measurement without cookies

    To know which pages are read, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics. This tool sets no cookies. It counts visits in aggregate (page viewed, country, device type, referring site) without identifying you or following you across sites. Details are in the privacy policy.

    Links to other sites

    Some links lead to other sites: our Facebook page, our YouTube channel, WhatsApp, Google Calendar (to add a coaching session to your calendar) or the official sites we mention. If you follow them, those sites’ rules apply, including for their cookies.

    Managing cookies in your browser

    You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge…). If you block the language cookie, the site still works: it will simply show the default language on each visit.
