My diploma is several years old. Is that a problem?
No, as long as you can explain what you have done since. Studies or work in the field, with certificates, make the application coherent.
When should I start?
For a September start in Belgium, ideally before February: pre-registration for non-EU students often closes in spring, and recognition takes time.
Do I need to speak Dutch or Romanian?
Not for French-speaking Belgium. Romania offers programmes in French and English; otherwise a preparatory year of Romanian is required.
How much do I need for the visa?
You must prove living funds for the whole year, through a sponsor or a blocked account. The amount changes every year; we check it with you during the assessment.
